Tasha Sue Swanton, 42

Tasha Sue Swanton, 42, of Clarksville, passed away at home on July 11 2025. Tasha was born on August 24, 1982. The daughter of Pamela Swanton, Clarksville. Honorary Uncle Rod Luck as her step up father of Racine Minnesota.
Tasha graduated from Clarksville High School with the class of 2001. Tasha then went on to work at Caseys in Waverly for 15 years. And most recently at Gatr Trucking in Waterloo. She said that Gatr was her dream job.
Tasha had a heart of gold for the friends that she had made along the way. She enjoyed baking and cooking for all to enjoy. Tasha loved to travel. The most recent was to the Atlantic Ocean, where she fell in love with New Jersey and all it had to offer. She cared deeply for her dogs Binks and Toby. She treasured the latest tattoo time with her cousins Lacey, Brittany, and Lindsey. Tashas world was her family and her dogs.
Tasha was diagnosed with Extensive Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Carcinoma that spread to her brain on October 28, 2024. Tasha put up a hell of fight and succommed to the disease July 11, 2025.
Tasha is survived by her mother Pamela Swanton of Clarksville. Her Honorable step up father Rod Luck, Racine, Minnesota. Her twin sisters Tanya Swanton of Clarksville, Tristan Swanton of Oelwein. Brothers Noah Ragsdale of Waverly. William Weber of Overland Park, Kansas. Joe Dorman and family of Winthrop. Step up brother Matt and Rena Meyers of Clarksville. Step in sisters Lindsey Parkman, Abby Brekke, and Heidi Kramer. Grandmother Sandy Tutjer. And special friend Jeff Potratz of Center Point. One neice Amanda Weber of Overland Park, Kansas. One nephew Joey Parker of Butler, Missouri. Tasha is also survived by Brenda (Tim) King of Doughtery. Kathy (James) Thompson of Waverly. Rodney Tuitjer of Clarksville. Sherri Laird of Clarksville. And many cousins. Tasha was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Raymond “Pete” Tuitjer,maternal grandmother Shirley Dawson, cousins Adam Jacobsen, Christopher and Dakota Soldwisch.and paternal grandmother Jacqueline Luck.
A celebration of life will be held at Docs in Clarksville, July 19, 2025 from 3-7 p.m. A short memorial will be held during this time, as long as a luncheon. Tasha has been cremated, with a private family burial later on. Memorials may be directed to the family of Tasha Sue Swanton.
