Michelle Miller, 48, of Grinnell, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, at her home while under Hospice care. Woodley Funeral Home of Allison is caring for Michelle and her family. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2023 at St. John's Lutheran Church – Vilmar, 16073 Keystone Ave., Greene, IA 50636. Followed by a Celebration of Remembrance at the Allison AmVet’s Hall. Burial will be at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo. Michelle Leigh Miller was born June 23, 1975, in Waterloo, a daughter of Frank and Pamela (Speck) Andrews. She graduated with the class of ’93 from Cedar Falls High School, attended Aplington, Allison-Bristow and Aplington/Parkersburg High Schools, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa in 2020.

On November 30, 1996, Michelle was united in marriage with Eric Miller in Allison, Iowa. They lived in Grinnell where they raised their family. Michelle worked for 15 years at Bayer as a Logistics/Seed Tech, was a Notary Public, a licensed wedding officiant and a Younique Makeup Brand Ambassador. She was a member of Miller’s Grillers, Allison AmVets, Butler County Relay for Life, and the University of Iowa Alumni Association.

Michelle loved spoiling her boys, nieces, nephews, granddaughter, telling them to add to my cart on Amazon, attending sporting activities, family holiday gatherings, the Firework display party, car shows and the Iowa State Fair, tailgating at Iowa Hawkeye games, running track and hurdles, 5Ks, and a half marathon, giving full size candy bars away for Halloween, Black Friday shopping with sisters, braiding hair, traveling to different counties, visiting the cabin in Delhi and supporting family, friends, and many charities. She was one to give the best hugs.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Eric Miller, Grinnell; sons: Austin Warrington, Grinnell; Peyton (Shelby) Miller, Grinnell; Trenton (Caitlyn) Miller, Ankeny; granddaughter: Claire; half-brother: Tim (Kelly) Timmer; half-sister: Tina (Bryan) Butcher; half-sister: Kimber (Lee) Ellard; sisters: Stephanie (Eric) Schoh; Jennifer (Marc) Seehusen; step-brother: Jarod (Heather) Farnham; aunt: Denise (Michael) Lowrey; step-mother: Terri (Earl) Hardisty; brothers-in-law: Mikey (Jodi) Miller; Joey (Tiffany) Miller; mother-in-law: Brenda Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Michelle is preceded in death by her grandparents: Harold and Marian Speck; Harold and Marjorie Andrews; Great Aunt Lucille Speck, father, Frank Andrews; mother, Pamela Andrews; half-brother, Christopher Neuffer; step-brother, Jerome Farnham; father-in-law, Dennis Miller and niece, Mollee Miller.
