Butler County Supervisor shares hope of methane capture facility

BUTLER COUNTY – Butler County Supervisor Rusty Eddy shared details about a recent opportunity he had to visit a methane capture facility operated by Vespene Energy in Ringle, Wis.

Eddy’s trip occurred on Monday, Jan. 8. He met with Brett Arnold, Vespene’s Business Development Manager. Arnold gave Eddy a tour of the facility and explained its components and goal. The primary goal of Vespene is to convert methane gas (which is prominent within landfill sites) into energy to power computers or other assets.
