Bearcat girls take Coaches vs. Cancer game over Huskies

GREENE – It was a successful day for the North Butler girls’ basketball team and their efforts to raise money for childhood cancer.
The Bearcats raised money throughout the day with silent auction items and the 48-second bucket run tallied $504.36 that will go toward cancer research.
And coach Megan Neuendorf’s team topped it off with a 55-43 win over the Huskies on Saturday, Jan. 26.
Madison Klingenborg got into a groove shooting the ball and scored 13 points to help the Bearcats improve to 5-10 overall with the victory.
“I was very impressed,” Neuendorf said. “I was nervous because we haven’t played in over a week..."
