Gary Miller’s clocks are sure to catch the eye of any passerby at the First National Bank in Waverly, where they are now on display.
Miller has created clocks since around 2000. Previously he did some woodworking; a clock pattern in a magazine caught his eye.
“When I [received the pattern] I said there’s no way; I’ll never make it, so I put it aside,” Miller said. “About six months later, … I didn’t have anything to do. I picked that pattern up, and I started. I haven’t laid it down since.”
Currently, Miller is building a clock with miniature lights installed on lamp posts.
