Two months after closing down as the only restaurant in Allison, Wink’s Diner is going to try again. They are reopening on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 6 a.m.

Head cook Zach Winkowitsch and his dad, Steve, will be running the business, with Zach’s uncle, Dennis, leasing the property.

All will stay the same as before at the diner, with the exception of opening up a half hour later in the morning and Winkowitsch likely adding chicken wings to the menu for the rest of the football season.

Wink’s hours are: Wednesday-Saturday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The eating establishment is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
