Wedeking voted first team all-state

DES MOINES – Clarksville junior guard Kori Wedeking was voted to the Iowa Print Sports Writers’ Association first team, announced early Tuesday morning.
Wedeking, who helped lead the Indians to their first state basketball appearance last week, led the team in scoring at 17.6 points per game, with an average that ranked among the top-10 in Class 1A.
“I was really was hoping she’d be first team all-state,” Clarksville coach Ross Timmermans said of Wedeking. “She’s got the numbers..."
