Wedeking runs to 47th at state

FORT DODGE – The lack of meets this season didn’t help Clarksville junior Kori Wedeking’s state meet run on Saturday, Oct. 27.
The Indians’ two-time state place winner and now three-time state qualifier ran to 47th overall in 21 minutes, 29.9 seconds at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge.
“Saturday was just a tough day, one that all athletes face at one time or another during their careers,” Clarksville coach Ralph Longus said. “I know she was disappointed in her place and time, but she will bounce back from this..."
