Walter A. “Wally” Wilken

Walter A. “Wally” Wilken, 85, of Clarksville and formerly of Plainfield, Iowa, died on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at the Clarksville Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center of cancer.

     Wally was born on December 3, 1929, on a farm in rural Clarksville, Iowa, the son of Edwin and Malinda (Klunder) Wilken....

     Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 10:30 am at First United Church of Christ-Pleasant Valley, rural Clarksville, with Pastor Peter Wenzel officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery with Military rites conducted by the Clarksville Amvets, Post 30.

Public visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly and also an hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the Donor’s choice.
