Violent windstorm leaves Clarksville twisted mess

The sun rose Tuesday morning in Clarksville, unveiling the damages left in the wake of Monday night’s windstorm.
Citizens then saw the tangled, twisted mess of tree debris left from the storm. Wind speeds in excess of 80 mph had swept through town after 3 to 4 inches of rain poured down.
Around 7:30 p.m., trees were uprooted, structures battered and power lines taken down. Nearly every road in town was left looking like an asphalt jungle.
