CLARKSVILLE— On May 9, Vietnam Veteran Matthew Nutt went on an honor flight to Washington D.C.
“It was wonderful. I got to see things we see on TV all the time, like the White House, the Wall, the World War II display and the Korea Display. We saw the Vietnam Memorial in person. That meant the most to the group I was with,” Nutt said.
Nutt served in the Navy from Oct. 1967 to Oct. 1971. He was in the active service for four years and on inactive service for two years.
