Thompson advances to district meet

NASHUA – For the second straight season, North Butler’s Beau Thompson made the cut to play at the Class 1A District meet this Friday at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls.
Thompson shot 80 to finish the individual medalist runner-up and moved on from the Friday, May 10 Class 1A Sectional at Nashua’s Town & Country Club.
The Bearcats as a team came up four strokes short to advance further.
