Supervisors discuss aerial photography, digital imagery and the budget

The Butler County Supervisors approved the transfer of funds to the County Recorders account and the use of aerial photography for the assessor at their weekly meeting.
Assessor Deb McWhirter asked the Supervisors to approve aerial photography to be updated for Butler County.
“It is a reflight,” McWhirter said. “We have aerial photography already but it needs to be updated.”
The photography needs to be updated every few years, and it has been four years since the last update, so it was due, McWhirter said.
