Students learn about trees, help to plant; 15 trees added in Clarksville on Oct. 2

  Shovels flew, roots were loosened and mulch arranged as the Clarksville fall planting took place Friday, Oct. 2.
  Clarksville Elementary fifth and sixth-graders, Trees Forever and the city of Clarksville planted a combined 15 trees this fall.
  The fifth and sixth grade classes learned about trees from Clarksville Trees Forever members Lloyd Calease and Meredith Borchardt before planting their own on Slimmer and East Superior streets.
