Strong performance for H-D, North Butler in extra-inning affair

ALLISON – Talk about your high drama.
North Butler was one pitch away from possibly walking off with the bases loaded against Hampton-Dumont on Thursday, July 7 at Allison.
Instead, eighth grade pitcher Drew Uhlenhopp got a called third strike on a full-count pitch to send this non-conference regular season finale to extra innings where the Bulldogs took control in an eventual 9-2 win for H-D.
 “I was asked if I thought about taking time to talk to him (Uhlenhopp),” Lokenvitz said. “(The answer) No...."
