Spike in propane prices causing concern

The recent increase in price of liquid propane is causing concern among emergency responders.

With a fear of prices becoming unaffordable to heat homes, responders are worried citizens will turn to alternative methods that may be unsafe.

If using electric heaters, space heaters, etc., to heat living areas be careful. Devices could cause plug-ins to overload or increase carbon monoxide levels. Unplug heaters if leaving, and make sure to have a working carbon monoxide detector and smoke detectors.
