Site visit proves Clarksville district moving in right direction

Iowa Department of Education visited Clarksville Community School District recently for a regular five-year accreditation and program approval.

Spending two days at the school for an on-site visit, DE team members interviewed staff, administration, Board of Education and middle and high school students; reviewed documents; and observed building tours.

In conclusion of the team members’ visit, they reported on strengths and recommendations in seven areas, including vision, mission and goals; leadership; collaborative relationships; learning environment, curriculum and instruction; professional development; and monitoring and accountability.
