Sinclair Elevator of Parkersburg is constructing a pellet feed mill.

Younglove Construction of Sioux City, who erected the Zinpro Corporation plant in Shell Rock, used slip form construction to create 16-story tower before winter.

The 170-foot concrete goliath will be a storing house for feed ingredients and the finished product.

“This will bring us up to date with technology that’s taking place,” said Jim Luebbers, Sinclair Elevator representative. “This will take the place of the existing mill, but we’re not tearing the old one down. It will serve as a backup for the new mill.”
