Sherrie’s Café opens

Can Allison keep a restaurant on Main Street? Sherrie Dreesman believes that it can. She re-opened the restaurant as Sherrie’s Café on Wednesday, August 15.
     Since then, she has stayed busy as locals give the café a try. Changes patrons will notice include patriotic décor, fewer employees and lower prices.
     “Some of the prices are less than they were before,” Dreesman said. “I understand a small town. If somebody has to pay $10, they might go out of town.”
     While some of the menu items remain the same, there are also some new dishes—and everything is homemade.
