Sheriff’s Office searching for missing Clarksville man

ALLISON — Butler County authorities were searching for a missing Clarksville man Tuesday morning.
Sheriff Jason Johnson reported at Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting that a missing person was “giving us concern.”
No name was given, though Johnson said the man had left Clarksville to travel to Oregon and work at a marijuana farm. He said the man apparently made it as far as Denver, Colo. but has since disappeared without a trace, including from social media circles. He described the man as having originally been from Sumner before moving to Clarksville.
Johnson was not available for further comment following the meeting. The Sheriff’s Office is looking into the case because the man’s family is concerned for him, and the man is not charged with anything, Butler County Dispatch said Tuesday.
