Shell Rock to welcome new library director

The Benny Gambaiani Public Library in Shell Rock is preparing to welcome a new library director, Deb Nieman. Interim director Sue Kaus is set to retire in June.  
     “She will do very well. She has the business head, the organizational skills and the people skills,” said Kaus. “She’s getting to know the collection, and she’s ready to take it head on.”
     Since October, Nieman has been acquainting herself with the library while working part-time as Assistant Director alongside Director Sue Kaus and Library Associate Nellie Kaus.
     “I’m very excited about it,” said Nieman.
