Seven Clarksville groups invest in AEDs

Clarksville Ambulance Paramedic Paul Miller spearheaded a project seven months ago to get local organizations and businesses to invest in automatic external defibrillators, which are used to treat sudden cardiac arrest.

A total of seven groups invested in them – Immanuel United Church of Christ, Schmadeke Feed Mill, Clarksville Community School District, Clarksville AMVETS Post No. 30, Clarksville Fit Club, Opportunity Health and Clarksville Public Library – with representatives collecting and getting a demonstration on proper use from Miller and Crystal (crew member) and Jenna Wedeking (EMT) Friday at AMVETS hall.
