SHEFFIELD – West Fork and North Butler couldn’t have started the 2017-18 season more differently.
And, it seems, the two are going in opposite directions heading into the break.
The Bearcats opened 4-0, but the Warhawks’ 75-47 win on Friday, Dec. 22 handed the visitors their fourth straight loss to enter the break at 4-4.
“We don’t know,“ North Butler coach Dave Brown said. “The kids come out with absolutely no effort. We’ve got to come out and play harder and more effort and act like they want to be here. I think everyone is seeing that.”
The full story appears in the Dec. 28 print edition of the Butler County Tribune-Journal.
