The Clarksville school board tabled an agenda item for a football sharing agreement with North Butler with a request for details: particularly, about coaching and location.
“Recommend we share equally: half of the home games there and half here. Have co-head coaches or have the Clarksville coach the head coach and play the junior varsity and junior high schedule in both places to bring both of the schools together,” said school board member Justin Clark.
Administrators from both schools will meet to work out the main points of the agreement, and a special board meeting will be held, tentatively on November 29 at 5:15 p.m., for the board to make a decision. The cut-off date for redistricting is December 4. An extension is possible, but not advised.
The North Butler school district unanimously approved the sharing agreement at their meeting on November 13.
