Sylvia Lumm, 95, resides at the Shell Rock Healthcare Center.
Lumm grew up in Shell Rock on a farm with her family. When she was very young, she lived near Aplington, but soon moved to Shell Rock. Her parents milked cows and had pigs, chickens, ducks, geese and row crops like corn, wheat, oats and soybeans.
