Resignations and new hires for Clarksville school - Summer projects underway

At the school board meeting Monday evening, resignations and new hires were approved. Summer projects and purchases, selling Chromebooks and football camp were discussed.
     The board received and approved resignations from Associate April Hoodjer, Title I/fifth grade teacher Coryn Van Beek and high school language arts teacher Kassie Friedrichs.
     The board approved recommendations for Jordan Myers to serve as head varsity basketball coach, Dan Clark as junior high boys basketball coach, Anna Bentley as Title I teacher and Bethany Jurrens as fifth grade teacher.
     “Anna is fresh from UNI. She’s an assistant softball coach at Waverly-Shell Rock this summer,” Superintendent Joel Foster said.
