Are you prom dress shopping, but don’t want to spend a lot of money on a dress you will only wear a few times? The Clarksville Open Door Youth Center is offering gently-used prom dresses in exchange for a non-perishable donation to the Food Pantry located at the youth center. Prom shoes and jewelry are also available.
Over a hundred dresses will be available in a wide variety of sizes and styles at the youth center Saturday, March 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Fitting rooms will be available.
The dresses were donated to the Youth Center and are available to girls in the surrounding communities.
“We’d rather have girls use them than have them hang in a closet…” said Louise Kramer of the Youth Center. “Regardless of your income, it’s nice to get a nice prom dress without paying an arm and a leg. Some of these were very expensive dresses new that have been gently used.”
