Read Across America

Clarksville Schools joined in celebrating National Read Across America Day 2018 on March 2.
     Elementary students were paired with older students for a reading activity in the various classrooms and in the gym. The mentoring students were encouraged to be positive role models for the younger students.
     “Anytime kids can have people read to them, whether its adults or other students, [it’s a] huge benefit,” said Principal Eric Eckerman.
     He hopes the event encourages kids to read more.
