Popham reaches medal stand

DES MOINES – Clarksville coach Tim Negen says he wishes he had 10 more wrestlers just like Skyler Popham.
The senior 285-pounder reached the medal stand by finishing sixth in his only trip to the Class 1A state wrestling meet that concluded Saturday afternoon at Wells Fargo Arena.
“Skyler Popham got on the stand, reached the semifinals,” Negen said. “He’s my first placewinner as a head coach.
“Too bad he’s a senior..."
