Pioneer Day tradition continues at Clarksville Elementary

CLARKSVILLE — Vickie Miller continued on Friday a tradition her fourth grade classes have followed for more than 30 years, of the 36 she has been teaching.
  Pioneer Day lasted just a half-day when Miller and fellow teacher Sue Happel started it, Miller said. By then, the town celebration was already called Pioneer Days. It has since expanded to fill the whole day.
