CLARKSVILLE – Kori Wedeking threw a perfect game – her second in as many days – to set up the Clarksville softball team’s showdown with Collins-Maxwell for the Iowa Star Conference title.
The Indians won the title in 2017, but that was before Collins-Maxwell split with Baxter and each team joined the Iowa Star.
Both Collins-Maxwell and Clarksville were undefeated in the conference going into Friday’s game and Wedeking and the Indians went out of their way to stay unbeaten in the conference before the big game with a 12-0, four-inning victory over Colo-NESCO.
The full story appears in the June 28 print edition of the Clarksville Star.
