Parkersburg voters choose Bernard, former mayor

  ALLISON — Votes are unofficially in for a special mayoral election held Tuesday in Parkersburg.
  Voters selected former Parkersburg mayor and declared candidate Perry Bernard. Unofficially, Bernard garnered 248 total votes —242 precinct votes and six absentee ballots.
  Declared candidate John L. Heffner brought in 108 total votes — 93 precinct votes and 15 absentee.
