NWS concludes tornadoes, straight-line winds hit area

The National Weather Service Assistance team spent six hours investigating storm damage in the area last Tuesday.

After using computer software programs and following storm paths, NWSA concluded two tornadoes of Enhanced Fujita 1 scale (86-110 mph) struck both east and west of town, while straight-line winds blew through it at speeds of 90 mph.
