North Butler seventh at Tripoli

TRIPOLI – North Butler advanced three wrestlers to the final, but emerged with only one champion as the Bearcats finished seventh at a stacked Tripoli Wrestling Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 10.
Caleb Wedeking (22-0) defeated Class 2A No. 5 Zach Bruns of North Fayette Valley by a 3-1 decision for North Butler’s only individual title.
The Bearcats scored 109 team points.
