North Butler pulls away late from Butler County host Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE – Clarksville baseball coach Matt Finley knew what would happen all too well.
He’s seen North Butler enough to know that when the Bearcats get on base, they aren’t afraid to try things, like the suicide squeeze bunt in the third inning that put them up for good in an eventual 15-4 final in seven innings on Thursday, May 28.
“I knew it was coming sooner or later,” Finley said. “I knew they’d get guys on and then they’d go to their bunt game, and you know we had guys in there at different positions that hadn’t practiced yet and they took advantage of it.”
North Butler coach Travis Miller readily admits that is what his teams always try to do.
“That’s kind of our style,” Miller said....
