North Butler makes late rally to top Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE – Clarksville went from being three outs away from posting its first non-conference win over North Butler in nine years to a complete turnaround as the Bearcats sent 11 men to the plate in the top of the seventh for an eight-run rally in a 9-3 win over the Indians on Thursday, May 23.
Kelton Kluiter, a former North Butler student, was cruising after giving up just one first inning run, but everything turned on a dime when he issued three walks with no outs to start the seventh.
Everything escalated from there with coach Travis Miller’s team putting together four hits and an error to go ahead.
“The big thing is the five innings prior to that where our guys are just too excited to hit the ball and are out in front of everything,” coach Miller said...
