North Butler girls compete at state

DES MOINES – Running a season-best time in the distance medley relay at the Class 1A state track & field meet, the North Butler girls finished 14th in the event using a strong anchor by Isabel Derdzinski.
The Bearcats ran four seconds faster than the previous at 4 minutes, 28.50 seconds for their finish.
But it was Derdzinski on the 800-meter anchor who moved North Butler up from seventh to fourth in the second of three sections to help with the finish.
