North Butler freshman reaches state meet

BRITT – North Butler fresman Meg Thompson shot 93 to earn a spot in the Class 1A girls state golf meet next week in Marshalltown.
Her score was good for fourth at Britt Country Club on Monday, May 20.
“Meg putted extremely well today and hit her driver very consistently,” coach Todd Thompson said, “putting her in position to take advantage of her opportunities.”
Her teammate, Rainy Kock, came up short by shooting 103.
