North Butler-Clarksville senior only wrestler to advance to state

DENVER – Bryce Trees emerged the only North Butler-Clarksville wrestler unscathed at a tough Class 1A district wrestling tournament at Denver on Saturday, Feb. 9.
Trees, wrestling at 126, earned his second state wrestling meet after missing out last year.
He was the district champion, pinning Nathan Egan of Sumner-Fredericksburg in the semifinal and then going on to work a 5-2 decision against Isaac Schimmels of Denver in the final. Trees is ranked seventh at 126.
