New signage erected at school

A trio of signs designed by Giddings Signs of Hampton was installed Friday at the school. Located on the south side of the building, the gym entrance of the elementary/junior high is identified, as well as the junior/senior high. The largest sign – Clarksville Community School District – is furthest east near the parking lot. Kenny Bloker Masonry and Lodge Electric, both of Clarksville, will do the block and electrical work. The signs were purchased through a Butler County Community Foundation grant, along with the school’s Physical Plant and Equipment and School Infrastructure Local Option funds. (Pat Racette Photo)
