A local Iowa performing family, The Johnson Strings, recently opened a brand-new show at the Majestic (formerly Majestic Steaks) in Branson, MO, one of the biggest music destinations in the nation.
The Johnson family has performed at numerous local venues throughout past years including the Butler County Fair.
“It has been my dream to open a theater in Branson, ever since I was young” said Luke Johnson, “so I am excited to finally see all our hard work paying off!”
The six Johnson siblings have studied violin, viola, cello, and piano professionally (from as young as age three) and gone to various Iowa and Illinois universities and colleges for continuing musical training. They grew up on a rural farmstead outside of New Hartford and their dad, Paul, is a mechanical engineer and works at the Waterloo John Deere facility.
