Mountain ash not attacked by ash borer

With the threat of the emerald ash borer now in Black Hawk County, the Allison Tree Board would like to remind home owners that if you have mountain ash trees, they are not a true ash, and not susceptible to the emerald ash borer. The borer will attack all other ash trees, however.
