Miss Clarksville 2016 chosen

Emily Doty will represent Clarksville over the next year and compete to be fair queen at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 27 at the fairgrounds in Allison. At the Miss Clarksville coronation June 9, Doty was named Miss Clarksville 2016. Kilie Popes was fi rst-runnerup and Miss Congeniality, and Paige Morrison was second runner-up.
In her new leadership role, Doty said she hopes to portray how communitybased Clarksville is and how the community comes together in times of need because it is so tight-knit.
