Merlin Obermeier

  Merlin Obermeier, 79, of Clarksville, formerly of Charles City, died on October 20, 2015, at the Floyd County Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
  A funeral Mass was held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 23, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City with the Reverend David Schatz from St. Mary Catholic Church in Waverly serving as the celebrant. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery following the Mass.
  Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City on Thursday, October 22, and continued an hour prior to the Mass on Friday at the church.
