McPherson and Jacobson firm voted to search for next superintendent

North Butler Board of Education voted McPherson and Jacobson, LLC, to search for the next superintendent of the district Monday.

Out of three research firms – including Trent Grundmeyer of Ankeny and Dean Meier Consulting Firm of Cedar Falls – McPherson and Jacobson were chosen in a 5-1 vote.

Grundmeyer, though, nearly was picked beforehand when Board member Kristy Lammers made a motion for him. A 3-3 deadlock, however, turned it over to a McPherson motion that was carried out.
