Mark William Bigler, 63, of Des Moines, formerly of Dumont, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the Arbor Springs of West Des Moines in West Des Moines.

Mark passed away in Des Moines at Arbor Springs surrounded by his loving family, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hampton, Iowa, with Fr. Mike Tauke officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Dumont, Iowa. Burial will take place at the Dumont Cemetery in Dumont, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mayo Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, 4111 Highway 52 North, Northwest Clinic Bldg., Rochester, MN 55901.

Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Dumont, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.
