Make Aredale Great Again

The new Aredale city council was sworn in Monday evening. Council members Virgil Homer, Mardee Johnson and Deb Homer, along with incumbent Mayor Rodney McKinney, have one mission: to make Aredale the best it can be.
     “We want to make Aredale great again,” said Deb Homer. “We want to do our duty to the city and serve our community.”
     The new council wants to make sure American flags are flying high on Main Street and Christmas ornaments are in place every year. They also plan to work tirelessly to find grants for funding for the small community.
     Mardee Johnson mentioned looking into other methods as well, such as recycling, to help with city funds.
