Maddie Poppe Living Room Concert scheduled for Friday

    Butler-Grundy Development Alliance and the Cedar Valley Regional Partnership are pleased to announce that you can enjoy a free living room concert and conversation this Friday evening, May 8 featuring Maddie Poppe. The virtual concert will start at 7:30 p.m. on the “Live the Valley” Facebook page. Poppe will perform some of her new releases, answer questions and engage with the online audience.

    Maddie Poppe, from Clarksville, is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and the season 16 winner of American Idol. She is a multi-instrumentalist playing the guitar, piano, and ukulele. Prior to winning American Idol, Poppe released an EP titled Songs from the Basement. 

    Poppe has graciously agreed to perform to bring a fun event to Cedar Valley community members and support local businesses through the #CedarValleyStrong movement.

    More concerts are coming soon, featuring artists and groups that have a strong connection with the Cedar Valley, so be sure to follow the Facebook page to get updates on future concerts.  “Live the Valley” is an initiative of the Cedar Valley Regional Partnership, which is a joint venture of multiple economic development organizations. The goal of “Live the Valley” is to attract new residents to the region by sharing stories about the great quality of life and community that is enjoyed here in the Cedar Valley Region of Iowa.
