Lizzy Lou’s Diner will open during Pioneer Days festivities to serve pulled pork, nachos, turnovers, lemonade, iced tea, Kool-Aid and M&M, Oreo and cookie dough ice cream storms.
Clarksville’s new diner is located in what was formerly the Express Mart gas station. Food during the festivities will be served outdoors as owner Tammy Krull finishes the final touches on the interior.
When complete, Lizzy Lou’s Diner will be themed in red, black and white with indoor and outdoor seating.
“I thought we’d go for an old ‘50s ice cream parlor look,” Krull said.
