Linda Mosher, 66, of Allison, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Unity Point – Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. James Lutheran Church, Allison. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday at St. James Lutheran Church, Allison. Interment will be at Allison Cemetery. Woodley Funeral Home, Allison is caring for Linda and her family.

Linda Lee Mosher was born January 5, 1957, in Charles City, a daughter of Frank Ellsworth and Shirley (Chase) Wygle. She graduated from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1975. On July 1, 1978, Linda was united in marriage with Charles Mosher at St. James Lutheran Church in Allison.

Linda worked at the Dairy Sweet and as a janitor for St. James Lutheran Church. She was a longtime member of the Jaycee’s and District Director. She loved her gardening, flowers and her dogs. She especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren, being outside and sitting on her deck.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years Charlie; son: Matt Mosher, Iowa Falls; daughter: Martha Mosher and her children: Alex and Weston; sister Kathy Wygle; brother: Tony (Kelly) Wygle; sisters-in-law: Marcia (Bill) Rovani; Ellen (Scott) Hanson; Marilyn (Jeff) Bodine; Barb Mosher (Ron); Anne Mosher; numerous Nieces, Nephews and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her son Zachary (2019), brothers Dan and Tim, her parents Frank and Shirley and in-laws Charles and Viola Mosher.
